How much does a pooper scooper service cost?

A pooper scooper service costs between $59 and $149 a month. Weekly visits for one dog run about $89 a month, every-other-week is $59, and twice-weekly is $149. Each extra dog typically adds $20 a month.

What you actually pay

Pricing in this industry is driven by two things and almost nothing else: how often someone comes, and how many dogs live there. Yard size matters at the extremes, not in the middle. Here is Scoop King's published pricing, which is the same pricing on our pricing page and not a quote-form teaser.

What moves the price

Frequency is the biggest lever. Going from every-other-week to weekly is a 51% jump because the visit count doubles. A second dog adds about $20 a month, not double, because the trip is already paid for. A yard over about a quarter acre, or one that has not been cleaned in months, will usually carry a one-time catch-up charge before regular service starts.

Is it worth it

That depends entirely on what your time is worth. One dog scooped weekly costs you roughly 13 hours a year of your own labour. Three dogs cleaned daily is closer to 117 hours. Our time calculator does that arithmetic on your own numbers.
