Terms of service

These terms cover scoop-king.com and Scoop King's dog waste removal service across 8 Temecula Valley cities. Booking a plan, which starts at $59 a month, means you agree to them.

What we do

We remove dog waste from your yard on the schedule you choose, and we send a timestamped photo of your closed gate when we finish. Current plans and prices are on the pricing page, and the price you see there is the price.

Access to your yard

• You need to leave the gate unlocked or give us a code on service days.
• If we cannot get in, we will contact you and try to reschedule that week. A visit we could not perform because we could not get access is still billed.
• Please secure any dog that is not comfortable with a stranger in the yard. We will not enter a yard where we do not feel safe, and we will tell you why.

Billing

• Recurring plans are billed monthly in advance to the card on file.
• There is no contract and no cancellation fee. Cancel any time and the plan stops at the end of the period you have paid for.
• One-time cleanups are billed when the work is done.
• Extra dogs, very large yards, or a yard that has not been cleaned in months may carry an additional charge. We tell you the number before we do the work, never after.

The free first cleanup

New customers who start a recurring plan get the first cleanup free, including a yard with a backlog. If you cancel before the first billed month, we may charge the standard one-time cleanup rate for that first visit. That is the only condition attached to it.

Weather and rescheduling

We work in ordinary weather. If conditions make the work unsafe or pointless, we move your visit to the next available day and tell you. We do not skip a visit and bill for it.

If something goes wrong

Tell us within 48 hours of a visit and we will come back and fix it at no charge. If we damaged something, tell us and we will make it right. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service, which is the normal arrangement for a service at this price.

What we are not

We are a yard cleanup service. We are not a veterinary service, a pest control service, or a landscaping company, and nothing on this site is veterinary or medical advice. The statistics we publish on our statistics page are estimates built on public data, and the page shows the method so you can check it.

Using this website

Everything on the site is ours except where a source is credited. You are welcome to quote or republish our published statistics with a link back. You may not copy the site wholesale and run it as your own.

Governing law

California law applies, and Riverside County is the venue for any dispute.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. A change never applies retroactively to work already done.
